STORE POLICY & TERMS OF USE
Last updated: May 2026
1. Introduction
Welcome to ARTARIA. These terms of use govern your access to and use of the ARTARIA website at www.iamartaria.co.uk and all purchases made through it. By accessing the website or placing an order, you confirm that you accept these terms and agree to comply with them. If you do not agree to these terms, you must not use our website.
ARTARIA is a trading name registered in England & Wales. Our registered office is at 71 Shelton Street, London WC2H 9JQ.
These terms should be read alongside our Privacy Policy and our Shipping, Delivery & Returns Policy, both of which are available on our website and form part of your agreement with us.
2. About ARTARIA
ARTARIA is a UK-based independent NuConscious streetwear brand built on the belief that every human being carries a sovereign voice — The Aria within. Founded on the conviction that style is not vanity but vocabulary, ARTARIA produces heavyweight hoodies, graphic tees, oversized long sleeve tees, sweatshirts, tanks and shorts for Citizens of Artaria — those who live authentically, love freely, and express fearlessly.
3. Eligibility
To use our website and place orders, you must be at least 18 years of age. By using the website, you confirm that you meet this requirement. If you are under 18, you may use the website only with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian.
4. Account Registration
You may browse the website without creating an account. If you choose to create an account, you agree to provide accurate and current information and to keep your account details up to date. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.
If you believe your account has been compromised, please contact us immediately at support@iamartaria.co.uk.
5. Products and Ordering
5.1 Made-to-Order Products
All ARTARIA products are made to order unless otherwise stated. Each item is produced specifically for you after your order is placed. This means that products are not held in stock and production begins once payment is confirmed.
5.2 Product Descriptions
We make every effort to ensure that product descriptions, images and specifications on our website are accurate. However, slight variations in colour may occur between the image displayed on your screen and the actual product, due to differences in screen settings and display technology. Such variations do not constitute a defect.
5.3 Design Features
Some ARTARIA products feature intentional distressed, faded, frayed or vintage-style finishes. These are design features and part of the product’s intended appearance. They do not constitute defects and are not grounds for a return or refund.
5.4 Product Availability
We reserve the right to withdraw, discontinue or limit the availability of any product at any time without notice. We will not be liable to you or any third party for any such withdrawal, discontinuation or limitation.
6. Pricing and Payment
All prices displayed on our website are in British Pounds Sterling (£) and include VAT where applicable.
We accept the following payment methods: credit cards, debit cards, and any additional methods displayed at checkout.
Payment is taken at the time you place your order. Your order is not confirmed until payment has been successfully processed. We reserve the right to decline any order at our discretion.
While we make every effort to ensure pricing accuracy, errors may occasionally occur. If we discover a pricing error on a product you have ordered, we will contact you as soon as possible to inform you. You will be given the option to confirm your order at the correct price or cancel it for a full refund.
7. Import Duties and Taxes
7.1 UK Customers
Certain ARTARIA products are fulfilled from the United States. If your order of these products exceeds £135, UK customs will apply a 25% import duty charge. Your order will not be delivered until this charge is paid. The affected products and their specific colour variants are listed in our Shipping, Delivery & Returns Policy.
7.2 EU Customers
Orders shipped to European Union countries may be subject to customs duty (typically 12% on clothing for orders exceeding €150), import VAT (typically 20–25% depending on the destination country), and a carrier handling fee (€15–€30 per clearance event). These charges are levied by the customs authority of the destination country and the carrier, not by ARTARIA. ARTARIA is not responsible for calculating, collecting or reimbursing import duties, taxes or carrier handling fees on international orders.
7.3 Future US Customers
ARTARIA does not currently ship to the United States. When US shipping is activated, applicable state and local sales taxes will be calculated and displayed at checkout where required by law. This section will be updated accordingly.
8. Shipping and Delivery
Full details of our shipping methods, delivery estimates, shipping rates and free shipping thresholds are set out in our Shipping, Delivery & Returns Policy, available on our website. By placing an order, you confirm that you have read and accepted that policy.
Delivery estimates are not guaranteed. ARTARIA is not responsible for delays caused by circumstances outside our control, including but not limited to carrier delays, customs processing, public holidays, natural disasters, or incorrect address information supplied at checkout.
9. Returns, Refunds and Cancellations
9.1 Returns
Because all ARTARIA products are made to order, we are unable to accept returns or offer refunds for reasons of personal preference, incorrect size selection, or change of mind. Refunds and replacements are available exclusively where a product has a verifiable manufacturing or printing defect.
9.2 Defect Claims
If you receive a defective product, you must contact us at cs@iamartaria.co.uk within 7 days of receiving your order. Full details of how to submit a defect claim, including what information to provide, are set out in our Shipping, Delivery & Returns Policy.
9.3 Cancellations
Orders may only be cancelled and fully refunded while they remain in “In Review” status — before production has commenced. Once production has begun, cancellation is no longer possible. To request a cancellation, contact cs@iamartaria.co.uk as soon as possible after placing your order.
9.4 Your Statutory Rights
Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights under UK consumer law, including the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013. Where goods are faulty, not as described, or do not match the information provided before purchase, you may have a legal right to a repair, replacement or refund. For more information on your statutory rights, contact your local Citizens Advice Bureau or visit www.citizensadvice.org.uk.
10. Intellectual Property
All content on the ARTARIA website — including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, images, photographs, product designs, the I AM visual mark, the ARTARIA wordmark, and all other brand assets — is the property of ARTARIA or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark and other intellectual property laws.
You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works from, publicly display, or otherwise use any content from the ARTARIA website without our prior written consent, except for your personal, non-commercial use in connection with browsing the website and placing orders.

-

12. Third-Party Links
Our website may contain links to third-party websites or services that are not owned or controlled by ARTARIA. We have no control over, and assume no responsibility for, the content, privacy policies or practices of any third-party websites or services. We recommend that you read the terms and privacy policies of any third-party website you visit.
13. Limitation of Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury arising from our negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited by English law.
To the extent permitted by law, ARTARIA shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill or other intangible losses, resulting from your use of or inability to use the website or our products.
Our total liability to you in respect of all losses arising under or in connection with these terms, whether in contract, tort (including negligence), breach of statutory duty, or otherwise, shall not exceed the total amount paid by you for the product(s) in question.
14. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless ARTARIA and its officers, directors, employees and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in any way connected with your breach of these terms, your use of the website, or your violation of any law or the rights of any third party.
15. Disclaimers
The ARTARIA website is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. While we endeavour to ensure the website is available and functioning correctly at all times, we do not guarantee that the website will be uninterrupted, timely, secure or error-free.
We make no representations or warranties of any kind, express or implied, regarding the completeness, accuracy, reliability, suitability or availability of the website or the information, products or services contained on it.
16. Changes to These Terms
We may revise these terms at any time by updating this page. The date of the most recent revision will be shown at the top of this document. By continuing to use the website after changes are posted, you accept the revised terms. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
17. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These terms, their subject matter and their formation, are governed by the laws of England and Wales. You and ARTARIA agree that the courts of England and Wales shall have non-exclusive jurisdiction to resolve any dispute arising in connection with these terms.
If you are a consumer resident in the United Kingdom, you will benefit from any mandatory provisions of consumer protection law in your country of residence. Nothing in these terms affects your rights as a consumer to rely on such mandatory provisions.
18. Severability
If any provision of these terms is found by a court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid, illegal or unenforceable, that provision shall be amended to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid, legal and enforceable. If such amendment is not possible, the provision shall be deemed deleted. The invalidity or unenforceability of any provision shall not affect the validity and enforceability of the remaining provisions.
19. Entire Agreement
These terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Shipping, Delivery & Returns Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and ARTARIA regarding your use of the website and any purchases made through it. They supersede all prior agreements, understandings and representations.
